INTELLISEARCH SEARCHES AbrirCerrar

Simply locate the search box in IntelliSearch, write the topic of interest or key words, and press the search button.

To obtain better results, enter the topic or key words without prepositions or articles. (Ex. No Smoking Law)

1. Search Language / Results Language

We offer the option of conducting your search in a particular language and, likewise, obtaining results in a particular language. Languages include: Spanish (default search), English, Italian, and Portuguese. To use this functionality, locate the Language buttons for Search Language and Results Language. When pressed, they will display a menu of translation languages. Both selections should be made after typing your search in the IntelliSearch box.

2. Libraries

Locate the Libraries button. When pressed, it displays a menu of the most commonly used libraries. Select one and then type the text or key words to investigate.

3. Sort by

Our system lets you sort search results by Relevance or Date. Relevance implies how much the result resembles the search conducted. Date presents results in descending order.

4. Advanced Search

Our system allows advanced searches in Doctrine, Jurisprudence, and Legislation. Locate the Advanced Search button, which contains three links (Doctrine, Jurisprudence, and Legislation) to refine your search. When the desired link is pressed, you will be taken to the advanced search section that will let you conduct searches that are more precise.

DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT AbrirCerrar

When conducting a search, you will obtain a list of Microjuris documents responding to the criteria used.

The documents shown from your search include a menu for managing them as summary, download, print, and save options, among others.

The following icons are used in the menu to manage documents individually.

1. See a Summary of the Document 

This option lets you see a summary of the document. You can use this option without entering your user name and password.

2. Open Document  
This option allows you to open the document and see its content. Once opened, you can print the document. To open a document, you must access it with your user name and password.
3. Downloading Documents to my Computer 

This option lets you download the document to your computer in the available format. These formats can be DOC, PDF, RTF, or other. To download a document, you must access it with your user name and password.

4. Sending Documents by Electronic Mail 
This document lets you e-mail a document. This will take you to a send form. If you have accessed it as a user, you may send the complete document in the available format as an e-mail attachment. If you have not accessed it, we will only send a summary of the document.
5. Finding Similar Documents 
This option lets you conduct a search of documents that are similar to the one selected. It will display a list of results of documents that have similarities with the one selected. You can use this option without entering your user name and password.

To manage your search results can be used several of these options:
1. Filters
Search Filters let you refine or close your results according to several filters. Available ones are: Libraries - filters results by the collection to which they belong, Compendia - filters results by the Compendia to which they belong, Period - filters results by weeks, months, or years; and Country - filters results by the country to which they belong.
2. Recent Searches
Recent Searches displays your last three searches. These searches are available during the session and, therefore, are eliminated at the end of your work session. These searches may be conducted again if you click on the name of the search.

If you are a Microjuris client, you can use the services provided to our clients.

To access your services in Microjuris:

  1. Locate the Login section
  2. Complete the User field, entering the access code (“Login Name / User Name”)
  3. Complete the Password field, entering your access key or password.
  4. Press the SIGN IN button in this section.

To close your Microjuris.com session:

  1. Press the SIGN OUT button in this section.

This will eliminate your session from the system. You must reenter your user name and password in your next access.

1. User Name and Password
Our service officers provide the user name and password to you when you become a client of our services. An officer will contact you and verify your information to, subsequently, send you an e-mail message with your user name and password. If you lose your user name or password, contact us in the Contact us area.
2. Reference
Option for identifying the work session by client, case, or other form of identification. The reference entered will appear in your account statement as an identifier of time spent in our website. This alternative is optional. Therefore, it is not necessary to complete it to have access as a client.
3. Remember Me
By selecting the Remember Me option, you are telling the system that it must remember it the next time you access the site. This permits an automatic authentication when you return to the site if you have pressed the EXIT button. If you click on EXIT, this option will be disabled and will not be authenticated the next time you access the site. By selecting this option in the User Access, it will simultaneously auto-select in the Personalize area as turned on. By pressing EXIT in the User Access, it will auto-select simultaneously in Personalize area as turned off.

Microjuris offers several service tools:
1. Help
Through our help center, you can learn about our website, how it works, and the tools that are at your fingertips. The User´s Guide provides definitions of icons, search methods, website functionalities, specific explanations of tools, etc.
2. Contact us
Through our contact center, you may learn about the alternatives available for communicating with us. We provide an online e-mail system that is easy to use and lets you send instant messages. You can send us your questions or suggestions, report errors, request information, or express yourself.
3. Community
We offer services that may be used to your benefit. Among these is access to a free legal blogs tool.
4. Sitemap
The Sitemap allows you to see the website content in a list of links that are easily accessed. You can see the order and structure of our contents and access them easily. Just click on the link representing the area that you wish to access.
5. Print
This icon, identified by a printer, will activate the print command. The printer friendly version of the website is different from the Internet version. The purpose is to offer a print version within the parameters of the sheet of paper and minimize the use of ink while printing images.
